Are you looking to move to London - or already in the London area and you are an experienced Bioinformaticians in the area of cancer, genetics, rare diseases or inherited disease looking for your next career stepWe are looking for someone who has experience in the following areas;- Bench marking genome analysis pipelines- Performing computational analyses for a range of projects- Monitoring quality of WGS data- Carrying out alignment and variant callingIdeally:- Strong programming skills (Python, R)- Experience with full cycle of analysing NGS data from sequencing- Post-doctoral experience with Rare Diseases or genetics- PhD (or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Systems Biology or Genetics - Experience handling large data sets and setting pipelines- Strong understanding of inherited disease and human genetics- Solid knowledge of family based analysis and knowledge of association testing- Practical knowledge and understanding of statistics Required skills
