Job Description

SENIOR BI ANALYST ASSET MANAGEMENT FIRMCENTRAL LONDON£65,000One of the largest and most recognised brands within Assetand Fund Management are looking for a skilled Senior BI Analyst who can pull key insights from the data to advise their client facing and sales area of the business in order to increase their efficacy.THE COMPANYThis company is one of the major organisations in this market globally managing a portfolio in excess of £4 billion. This role would join a team of 20 made up of a small team of data scientists, some developers and some BI Analysts. THE ROLEIf you were to be successful in your application for this Senior BI Analyst position your responsibilities would include:

  • Using SQL /Python to explore the data and work closely with data science in order to achieve the most valuable insights for the team
  • Take a lead on the analysis and solution design tasks and all elements of planning and estimates for analysis assignments during sprints including development and testing of working software and solution design.
  • Work closely with and support product owners to ensure that features and stores are as defined and structured as possible
  • Work with key members of the sales and client management team to ensure the requirements are effectively reflected in the solutions built or insights found and then communicated simply and effectively
    • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIn order for your application for the Senior BI Analyst to be successful you will need;
  • Strong experience using SQL or Python for Data Analysis and the ability to not only find key insights in large data sets but understand and effectively communicate their relevance to non technical stakeholders
  • Experience using a modern BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlikview to present reports and dashboards
  • Excellent experience understanding and eliciting requirements from stakeholders and then using these to design technical solutions in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce Einstein would be a big plus, as would attribution marketing but not necessary
