Job Description

My client is a well established Global Insurance Broker who have embarked on a digital transformation journey. Part of this digital journey for the business is the move to Cloud and they currently require the experience of a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead on the transition to Cloud internally.You will be supported by IT professionals globally in a truly inclusive environment to implement, manage and maintain the services used to provide critical systems to using Cloud based services.Key Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience as an Azure Administrator
  • Experience of IaaS & PaaS offerings
  • Experience of 3rd Party API Integrations
  • Data Integration with 3rd party REST/SOAP API services and experience with Postman and Microsoft Graph API
  • Infrastructure as code: Terrarform
  • Cloud Service management
  • VMWare VCA (VMWare Certified Associate) Cloud or Virtualisation qualifications or CCNA (Cisco Certified Networking Associate) Routing & Switching.
  • Deployment automation and configuration Terraform & Azure CLI
  • Azure Networking (VPN Gateway, vNets, Application Gateway, Peering, Azure Firewall etc)
  • Azure Virtual Machines (VM Sizing, Availability, Encryption, Replication, Scale Sets & Migration)
  • SQL (Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance)
