Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report into Senior Managing Director based in London
  • Provide investment underwriting and valuation evaluations for potential real estate acquisitions in the UK and across Europe
  • Analyze large quantities of data to distil information into insightful analysis and presentations for senior management summarizing performance and progress toward goals.
  • Create and manage Data Roommaterial for asset sales processes and fundraising
  • Create monthly research articles as marketing collateral for investor distribution
  • Portfolio budget, planning, treasury, and optimization of existing asset portfolio.
  • Create and produce monthly reporting and analysis to provide business insight to senior management.
  • Provide in-depth analysis on key operational metrics.
  • Assist in projecting portfolio company financial performance and cash needs.
  • Source content for financial models and reports, including industry data, external research, as well as assumptions as input.
  • Develop effective presentation materials for investors and potential investors that are empathic to reader.
  • Assist with analysis and preparation of materials needed for fundraising.
  • Apply the firms vision, pledges, and guiding principles to every facet of responsibilities to improve investment outcomes
Background
  • The Senior Associate / Vice President will have 6-10 years experience with a top tier real estate private equity firm or real estate asset/investment manager.
  • Applicants will ideally have started their career within real estate investment banking
  • Experience and track record across the Real Estate sector in the UK and/or Europe is required
  • Those with Residential or Logistics sector experience will be at an advantage
  • Investment and acquisitions background.
  • Proven ability to support transactions from A-Z
  • Experience of supporting the structuring and negotiation of transaction terms.
  • Experience in originating/sourcing and executing real estate transactions in the UK and Europe
  • Strong network with relevant investors, developers, consultancies, service providers across the real estate sector.
  • Advanced financial underwriting and modelling skills. Strong Excel skills required.
  • Comfort and familiarity with statistical analyses is a plus.
  • MBA preferred but not required.
  • Business development and networking skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and acute attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple, competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Entrepreneurial in mindset
