A career within Delivering Deal Value services, will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction,pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional areas such as Information Technology, Operations,Human Capital, Health Industries, and other back office functions.About the teamDelivering Deal Value (DDV) is a market leading team sitting within PwCs Consulting business, assisting both Corporate and Private Equity (PE) clients in a wide range of highimpact business situations. The M&A deals we work on range in size from £50m to over £10bn and our clients include the most well-known businesses and brands in the world.Our team comprises approximately 200 people from a wide range of backgrounds and disciplines.We recruit proactively from industry, consulting, private equity and audit to create a great blend of experience on each project. This blend of backgrounds helps us learn from each other and stay at the top of the market delivering fantastic results for ourclients on landmark deals.About the roleWe currently have a vacancy for a Senior Associate in the TMT team, with a background in Technology businesses e.g. B2B software or Media businesses e.g. B2B Data, Events, AdvertisingWe work on a wide range of projects,including; Pre-deal value creation advisory - where can we optimise the operating model and cost base for our clientCarve out and divestment support - how does the business develop standalone capabilities and what is the cost impact How will business continuitybe maintained from Day 1 and throughout the separation processSynergy development and review - where are the synergies between two businesses and what is the ongoing cost impactTaking control and 100 day planning - how can our clients effectively take controlof the business and manage risk whilst delivering quick wins through the first 100 daysMergers & Acquisitions Integration - how can our clients protect and grow value in an acquisition, what is the right level of integration to achieve this and what doesan effectively run integration programme look likePost-acquisition performance improvement using our Rapid Value Creation methodology - Where do value opportunities exist and how can we generate sustainable cost savingsA career in the DDV team is a uniqueand rewarding challenge. As such, projects can involve travel at short notice. Occasionally projects may also involve being based overseas for multiple weeks with trips home weekly or bi weekly and candidates should be prepared for this.The team is structuredby sector, supplemented with specialist cross-sector teams in Finance, Technology, HR and Integration. Although you will be aligned to the TMT sector, the specific projects you work on will vary based on the demand and the current deal market and thereforea degree of flexibility is expected.The Senior Associate role is an essential role at project level. You will be expected to support engagement managers and above, usually with data analysis, report editing and presentations.
