Job Description

About the roleAt ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive. The Senior Associate, Research & Analysis role is critical to making this happen and will focus on the production of high quality, fit-for-purpose financial, client and industry analysis to support credit decisions relating to large and complex multinationalclients. Actively contribute to the end-to-end relationship credit management process covering origination, transaction structuring, risk grading, risk analysis and credit approval, documentation, portfolio monitoring, and industry research. Furthermore, providethe first line of defence (in conjunction with Relationship executives) ensuring well managed principles are adhered to manage credit risks within allocated portfolio. The European portfolio includes some of ANZs leading multinational clients, across a broad range of sectors. This role will primarily be focussed on the Resources, Energy & Infrastructure and Food, Beverage and Agribusiness portfolios, but will include breadthopportunities across the portfolio. This includes working closely with our US colleagues. Location: London Role Type: Permanent, Full Time What will you bringTo grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Proven banking experience with strong skills in relationship credit risk assessment, management and structuring with large corporates
  • Good experience and knowledge analysing multinational customers with a highly analytical point of view with financial modelling
  • Advanced collaboration, relationship networking, influence and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset, highly commercial with an ability to balance risk and reward priorities
  • Strong knowledge and exposure to ANZ Risk & Compliance management
  • Strong client focus with the capability of leading due diligence activities, negotiations and customer engagements
  • Very innovative, self-directed, team player with demonstrated new ways of leading behaviours
