The team mainly provides senior and mezzanine financing on a range of large scale investment and development financing. They will also act as a joint venture partner and provide equity where there is a compelling reason to do so.Recent transactions have included coverage across a range of sectors, and will support the execution of new deals and actively manage existing positions.Main responsibilities*Supporting the deal originator to underwrite new deals being involved in the whole process from deal screening through to deal execution*Build investment cash flow models to screen new lending proposals, and prepare credit papers*Manage the deal due diligence process*Oversee loan facility drawdown*Monitor loan performance against business plan, identify issues and propose solutions to the originator*Attend site visits*Key client relationship management - borrowers, JV partners and other transaction counterparts*Attendance at regular meetings and updates with borrowers, property managers and JV partners; review of quarterly transaction reporting versus business plan*Performance of day-to-day decision making including recommending approval of payments, licenses, leases, capex and other asset management initiatives*Review and make amendments to transaction documentation as required*Monitoring of facility agreements, and produce quarterly loan reportsThe ideal candidate should have: *Four years of Real Estate Finance experience - as with a lender, servicing or advisory business*Solid cash flow analysis and modelling skills*Excellent credit risk management skills*Understanding of real estate finance legal documentation*Good understanding of the UK real estate marketVery competitive salary, with bonus and associated corporate benefits package on offer.
