Job Description

Bruin are working with a boutique investment bank to hire a Senior Associate for their Infrastructure M&A Team to be based in London.Only established for a few years, the team has built an excellent track record in the European mid-market space, working on buy and sell side deals. Continuing to regularly win new mandates, the team need to hire a Senior Associate to play a key role in theexecution of deals. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly active and growing team with long term career progression opportunities.The Senior Associate will:

  • Report directly to the Head of Infrastructure M&A and play a key role in the execution of deals.
  • Take responsibility for building financial models from scratch.
  • Conduct financial analysis and lead due diligence processes.
  • Work with Investment Teams to develop Investment Committee presentations and memorandums and help to deliver presentations when needed.
  • Interact with funds, developers and other industry professionals to generate leads across Europe.
  • Support clients with pre- and post-investment strategy development.
  • Provide training and mentoring to junior members of the team as and when needed.
Interested candidates must:
  • Be currently sitting in a Senior Associatelevelin the Infrastructure M&A Team of an investment bank, fund or advisory firm.
  • Come with an in-depth understanding of the infrastructure market with proven Mergers & Acquisitionsdeal experience.
  • Possess an excellent financial modelling and analytical skill set.
  • Hold a finance, business, engineering or equivalent degree from a well-regarded university.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of seniority internally and externally.
  • Be eager and highly motivated to join a growing M&A Team where you can build a long term-career and track record.
