Job Description

Senior Associate - Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC)An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ETC BMC team for a Senior BMC Associate, helping the business to win in the marketplace through creating deep client relationships, exploring major opportunities for revenue growth and strengthening our brand in the marketplace.This role drives brand, marketing and communications programmes across the ETC effectively and efficiently. The role ensures that our client servers are well connected and informed on ETC, EMEIA Tax and Regional priorities. Reporting directly to the ETC BMC Manager, this person will play a key role in designing and managing the internal communications strategy for the ETC, as well as supporting external marketing activities.The BMC function sits within the wider ETC core operations team of 13 people who are spread across the UK, Switzerland, Poland and Hungary and provide Finance, Talent/HR, Business Development, Communications and Marketing support to the ETC. The team also work very closely with the wider EMEIA and Global Tax teams, providing fantastic exposure to the Firms Senior Leadership teams.Your key responsibilities

  • Responsibility to establish and review the ETC’s internal communications strategy and drive its implementation
  • Full ownership of internal ETC communications - plan, write and edit engaging content for a variety of internal communications mediums, including quarterly stakeholder reports to EMEIA Leadership, ETC Regional monthly newsletters and weekly win announcements
  • Draft content for external mediums to support Marketing activity, including video scripts, flyers/brochures, client event presentations
  • Using innovative approaches to new ways of working by creating and championing new ideas, channels and tools
  • Point person for all ad hoc internal communications from the Partner and Director team
  • Work closely with other functions, including Talent and Business Development, to support communications on process changes or new systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve communications processes
  • Provide advice and best practice on communications and content

  • Abililty to understand and interpret a brief
  • Mid level experience in marketing/communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Professional services or legal background preferred, but not necessary
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail
  • The journalistic ability to source stories from employees within the firm
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship development skills at all levels within the Firm
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Teams including Teams Live events
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at once and manage to tight deadlines
  • A desire to embrace and drive change whilst identifying and supporting process improvements and demonstrating best practice
