Job Description

Signature Recruitment have an excellent opportunity with our client, a leading London University, for a Senior Assessments Officer to start with them immediately. The role is to assist the team in administering the planning and delivery of examinations and identifying opportunities for the improvement of existing processes.The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and will be extremely proficient in the use of Moodle and Excel, with the ability to use Vlookups and Pivot tables. If you are a confident communicator with experience supporting Higher Education assessments then this could be a great role for you!Senior Assessments Officer Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all operational aspects of the examination and assessment processes.
  • Update information on the Virtual Learning Environment, taking ownership of the relevant pages.
  • Support the arrangement and administration of examinations, including collating documentation, recording and communicating relevant information to a wide range of Stakeholders and ensuring the integrity of the examinations, and taking responsibility for specific areas as requested by the Programme Officers.
  • Plan the schedule for assessments and related meetings.
  • Maintain accurate electronic student records.
  • Support the production of examination and related materials, ensuring that they are compliant.
  • Identify and book examination space.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, processing and approval of external examiners.
  • Contribute to the recruitment and training of invigilators and student helpers.
  • Contribute to the allocation process for prizes and awards.
  • Senior Assessments Officer Administrator Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience managing Higher Education examinations
  • Extremely experienced in Excel with confident use of Excel including Vlookups and Pivot tables.
  • Experience within an autonomous administrative role to be able to manage a varied workload
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good communication skills to be able to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
