Summary:This is an opportunity for a Senior Analytical Scientist to join a company who are committed to harnessing the unique properties of their T Cell technology to revolutionise the world of immunotherapies. This is an influential role where you will be contributing to, and influencing, the design of experimental programmes for the charcterisation of T Cell therapies.The Opportunity:As a Senior Analytical Development, you will contribute to and influence the design of experimental programmes and then manage programmes in the laboratories. With the purpose to develop analytical methods and assays to support pre-clinical R&D and the manufacture of their cell therapy pipeline.- You will lead the design of experimental programmes to address a specific challenge in alignment with agreed project aims.- Line management of Associate Scientists and / or Technicians- Develop & validate methods for multi colour flow cytometry.- Develop & validate methods for immunoassays, cell-based assays, and PCR.- Manage the data sets, trend & analyse these to di.rect research and for use in presentations.- Transfer of methods to QC or Manufacturing environments for example.- Ensure work is completed to the company’s high standards and regulatory compliance.- Mentor and support the development of more junior colleaguesRequired Skills & Expertise:You will need:- A PhD or MSc and subsequent experience in the Cell Therapy, ATMP, or Biologics sectors for example- Experience of multi colour flow cytometry- Experience of Immuno assays, cell-based assays, and PCR (preferably ddPCR)- Experience in the characterisation of T Cell therapies or Immunotherapies- Experience in the design of experimental programmes, project leadership or supervisory experience.The Company:The company are a leading T Cell Therapy company who have developed a specific technology to harness their unique properties that is set to revolutionise the world of immunotherapies and the lives of patients.
