An exciting opportunity to join the Global Alpha Fund team and work for one of the CBRE Global Investors flagship fund products. The Global Alpha Team is dynamic and this role sits at the heart of the day to day operations including close interaction with the Fund Manager and wider portfolio management team. The role is focused on providing support towards the overall portfolio management responsibilities of the Fund. Key Responsibilities Data management contributing directly to portfolio analysis, monitoring and reporting to investors through production of quarterly reports and client presentations; Active involvement in preparing the Funds portfolio oversight committee presentation and maintaining the Client Investment Plan; Close collaboration with the Global Alpha Client Services team to provide written and quantitative support for client requests; Develop fluency on Fund holdings with respect to where information and documents are stored, key performance metrics Build and develop an awareness of global real estate markets and topics relevant to portfolio management considerations; Active participation in the review of investment proposals; Work closely with Financial Operations and Analytics teams on data accuracy and reporting templates and requirements Engage with the regional investment teams on aspects related to the Funds individual holdings. Maintain company templates. Person Specification Excellent financial modelling and data management skills; Ability to prioritise and work in a collaborative fashion on task and project based exercises: Accurate under time pressure and attention to detail; Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team; and Flexible approach to work and willingness/ability to travel. Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a commercial real estate investment, finance, or research capacity; Must be degree educated and preferably have a relevant economics, finance, or real estate qualification; and Excellent communication skills
