Corporate Finance The Houlihan Lokey Corporate Finance business has extensive expertise in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, activist shareholder and takeover defense, arranging financing, and other related advisory services for a broad range of clients. In addition, we havethe proven ability to engineer and execute financing solutions that are essential for growth and success and offer access to financing in the public and alternative capital markets through the issuance of debt, equity, or hybrid securities. In EMEA, we work with a wide spectrum of companies, from mid-market privately owned enterprises to large multinational organizations. With a growing EMEA platform of around 400 Corporate Finance bankers, we have the breadth and targeted expertise to provideexceptional client service. Capital Markets AdvisoryOur Capital Markets Advisory Group operates within the Corporate Finance business and is one of the firms fastest growing practices. As trusted advisors, we have the proven ability to engineer and execute financing solutions that are essential for growth andsuccess or for refinancings for companies under duress. We offer access to financing in the public and alternative capital markets through the issuance of debt, equity, or hybrid securities. In EMEA, the team is a rapidly growing team, advising clients onthe origination, structuring, and execution of private and public debt financings across numerous industries. Our European team comprises over 40 bankers in London, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris and Milan. ScopeThe Capital Markets Advisory team at Houlihan Lokey is looking to add a Senior Analyst / Associate in London. The environment at Houlihan Lokey is both collegial and entrepreneurial. Requirements

  • Strong academic track record and achieved a 2:1 or equivalent degree
  • 2-4 years of experience within Debt Advisory, Structured/Project Finance, Capital Markets, or other similar role within an Investment Banking or Advisory firm
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies, and applications
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical abilities; strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Understanding of financial statements analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential
  • Fluency in German language preferable
  • Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed
  • Strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask is crucial
  • Motivated and demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment
