Job Title: Senior Actuarial AnalystSalary Range:up to £50,000Location: London or EastleighSenior Actuarial Analyst: Our Ageas Actuarial Commercial team are looking to bring on board an experienced Senior Actuarial Analyst to join our successful London or Eastleigh office. The role has become available due to department growth and offers element of remote working and/or flexible hours.The Senior Actuarial Analyst will play a leading role in reserving, pricing support, capital modelling support, performance monitoring and forecasting and other ad hoc projects. Current high profile projects the team are involved with include technical pricing reviews, the re-design and automation of key processes and Covid-19 claims and exposure reporting. As the department forms a key link between other departments, the Senior Actuarial Analyst will work directly with individuals across all areas of the business, including Underwriting, Pricing, Finance and Claims, therefore strong communication and rapport building skills is a must.Owing to the varied nature of this role the Senior Actuarial Analyst will have a high degree of autonomy to work independently on a number of specific projects and analysis, with the flexibility to explore own ideas and work off of their own initiative.The ideal Senior Actuarial Analyst needs to have experience in reserving and/or pricing of general insurance lines, ideally in Commercial Motor business, and must have experience in data analysis and programming packages, such as SAS, R or Python.
