Job Description

Senior Acoustic Consultant - LondonWe have fantastic opportunity for a Senior Acoustician who is looking to rapidly progress into a Principal role. Our client is a competitive multi-disciplinary with offices based across the UK, Australia and MENA regions. They are hiring for a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join the team in London & assist with managing Junior Consultants.Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years consultancy experience; with demonstrable experience of managing team and projects.
  • Educated to MSc/BSc level in Acoustics or another relevant discipline.
  • IOA Membership is advantageous.
    • Candidates with a background in architectural & building acoustics are preferred.Duties:
  • Liaising with Junior and Associate Consultants across the company to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
  • Undertake Acoustical surveys.
  • Input at design meetings.
  • Noise modelling.
  • Fee proposals.
  • Financial management of projects.
    • Candidates with BIM (Building Information Modelling) experience are preferable but not essential!Projects:
  • Building acoustics.
  • Environmental acoustics.
  • Demolition and construction noise.
  • Multi-disciplinary survey management.
