Job Description

I am currently recruiting a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to work for a luxury retail company based in London (Chelsea), close to Kings road on a temporary role.Client DetailsMy client is Luxury retail company specialising on high end Leather Jacket. Been on the market for many years.They are looking to hire a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temporary basis.My client is based in London, close to KingsRoad station in the heart of Chelsea but they are working 5 days in the officeSector: RetailDescriptionSenior Accounts Receivable Specialist:Key areas of responsibility:

  • Reconciliation of AR Ledger (line by line)
  • Ensuring that the incoming payments are accurately and efficiently recorded in the company ledgers and well reconciled with the customer accounting
  • Support in dealing with the wholesale accounts in order to cash efficiently, including that reminders are sent timely and any upcoming issue is properly managed, liaising also with the relevant internal departments possibly involved
  • Support with perform the credit risk assessment of old and new customers: collecting financial information, defining credit limits, payment terms and ensuring any special conditions are correctly managed
  • Support the monthly accounting close cycle in accordance with internal established procedures and deadlines
  • Execution of various ad hoc tasks as and when requested
ProfileWe are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience of working in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control in a fast paced, commercial environment and specifically AR Balance sheet Reconciliation
  • Experience in dealing with Wholesale accounts operating in the Retail Sector is a plus
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to build positive relationships
  • Excellent verbal, visual and written communication skills
Technical
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and reporting applications - Oracle Netsuite is a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Job OfferThe successful candidate will be paid £21/h to £24/h depending on experience.
