Job Description

SEN teaching assistant role Starting date: ASAPLocation: HackneyFree CPD and Constant support with interviewingEmpowering Learning are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated SEN teaching assistant who is looking to make a difference. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and support children in a primary setting and the child thatthey will be working with.This role is a 1:1 role with a Year 4 child with ASD and nonverbal and would be required to be with them for the time he is in school. They are looking for someone that is understanding and encourage their students to succeed as they like to motivate theirstudents to be the best that they can!The school are looking for someone who is passionate about helping children and supporting them throughout their time in education.The school is a rated outstanding on Ofsted. The school is looking for experienced SEN teaching assistants that are willing to make an impact for their KS1 children.Essential criteria MUST HAVE:(1) Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.(2) Recent experience and good working knowledge of working with SEN students/working in an early year setting.(3) Genuine passion and desire to work with KS1 children.(4) Recent experience of and interest in working in a primary setting.Have an interest in the education sectorHave an enhanced up to date DBS on the update serviceExperienced teachers or Early career teachers Ability to engage with and inspire young learnersIf this teaching assistant position sounds like you then please get in touch with Millie Mace at Empowering Learning on or click the Apply Now button.
