SEN Teacher - Secondary ASD/SLD - SOUTHWARK

We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified teacher to join this Outstanding SEN School in Southwark, South East London.The school caters for students aged 2-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). In addition, some students at this school may exhibit challenging behaviour, sensoryimpairments or physical disabilities. The school is based in the London borough of Southwark although students come from all over South East London and the outskirts. The class sizes in this small school are not large and are very manageable (6-8 pupils) aswell as being well resourced in terms of both equipment and staffing ratios (2-3 TAs).This SEN School boasts a number of specialist facilities on site including a multi-sensory room, soft play room, gym and playground. This is a highly regarded special needs school with a happy environment and great links in the community.SEN Teacher - Secondary ASD/SLD - SOUTHWARKAs an SEN Teacher, you would be planning and delivering lessons, differentiated to meet the individual needs of the children. The curriculum you would be delivering is aimed to provide an inclusive, supportive and challenging environment for the childrenand encourage them to actively participate in their learning.
