SEN Co-ordinator Sensory, Physical and Medical NeedsRef 3571Permanent 37 hours Soulbury Scale Point 10-13 £48,009 - £51,951 (+3 SPA points) Ty Trevithick Abercynon CF45 4UQAccess and Inclusion ServiceSEN Co-ordinator Sensory, Physical and Medical NeedsTo start as soon as possibleSoulbury Scale Point 10-13 (+3 SPA points)Rhondda Cynon Taff is seeking to appoint an outstanding professional to join the leadership team of our Learner Support Service in the role of SEN Co-ordinator for Sensory, Physical and Medical Needs.Ideally candidates will have the knowledge and experience to build the capacity of all schools to meet the needs of learners and to manage specialist teaching and support teams.The ability to be a level 1 Welsh speaker is essential.The successful candidate will be required to: To play a key strategic role in developing policies and processes and best practice inclusive approaches for children with significant sensory (visual and hearing impairment) and physical/medical needs To provide line management for designated professionals who provide support for learners for sensory and medical needs in educational settings across the LA To support the development and effective delivery of a continuum of provision for children and young people with sensory and/or medical needs, including high quality specialist provisions attached to mainstream schools.
