Are you a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in Tower Hamlets We are currently recruiting for a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialised SEMH school in Tower Hamlets. Catering for students aged14-19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, this role offers a chance to make a significant impact in the lives of young people.Responsibilities:· Provide classroom support to students with SEMH.· Offer one-to-one assistance for students requiring additional support.· Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEMH students.· Support students in managing their social, emotional, and mental health needs.· Serve as a positive role model, promoting constructive behaviour and attitudes.· Collaborate with the wider school community, including parents/carers and professionals.Requirements:· Previous experience working with children and young people with SEMH.· Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.· Proficient in behaviour management techniques.· Enthusiastic about supporting young people with SEMH.· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.This is a temporary position with potential for extension. The salary ranges from £80-£100 per day (PAYE), depending on experience and qualifications.
