SEMH Teacher (Core Subjects) - Hounslow, West London Q - Are you an experienced Teacher, with UK QTS, who is looking to work closely with students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour If so, look no further!Clarus Education are currently looking to recruit an experienced, passionate, and proactive SEMH Teacher to join an SEMH Secondary PRU / Alternative Provision in Hounslow, West London. The school are looking to offer the suitable SEMH Teacher a permanent contract with a September 2021 start.Role Description: SEMH Class Teacher - Strengths in any single subject of - English, Maths, Science and Humanities etc. Teaching KS3-KS4 students with SEMH challenges Work closely within a team to achieve the desired outcomes MPS2-MPS6 Outer London pay scale - £31,604 - £41,136 On site and local parking availableThe school is a secondary aged Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in the London Borough of Hounslow (close to Brentford). The school caters for and works with students who have SEMH needs as well as challenging behaviour and some with mild to moderate ASD. They are a large school but boast a good staff to pupil ratio. The school are looking to add SEMH Teachers of various subjects to the staff to play a vital role with the students in improving their academic outcomes.If successful, the SEMH Teacher will join the schools talented team on a permanent, school contracted basis. The teaching role will involve planning, delivering, and developing lessons of various core subjects for the students, with an aim of achieving the best possible grades at their exams. Strong behaviour management and patience is key, and previous experience of working with challenging behaviour would be ideal.
