SEMH Learning Support Assistant - Wandsworth - ASAP Start - £75 to £100 a day - SEMH School

Do you have experience working in a school supporting students with mental health and behavioural needs Are you looking to work closer to home, in the London brough of Wandsworth Will you be available to work Monday to Friday during term time If you answered yes to the above, then this SEMH Learning Support Assistant role is for you! SEMH Learning Support AssistantQualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking for an experienced SEMH Learning Support Assistant who can join them immediately until the end of July, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. They will require to work inone of there classes with 6 students, all with some form of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. You will be assisting them during there lessons when they need that extra bit of help, due to their needs there will be times when their behaviour can becomequite challenging, and this is where you will need to step in a defuse the situation in a calm and professional manor. Therefore, the ideal SEMH Learning Support Assistant for this role will ideally need to have previously worked in a school or a similar settingand not be phased by challenging behaviour. SEMH SchoolThis SEMH School is found in the London borough of Wandsworth and caters for male students aged between 5-18 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. They currently have 200 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewedas Good in all areas.
