SEMH Art Teacher - Ealing - Permanent - January startDo you have a passion for teaching students with Special Educational Needs, inclusive of SEMH and ASCAre you gifted in keeping disengaged students interested during study and enjoy making a real differenceto the lives of young peopleWe are hiring a SEMH Art Teacher in Ealing to work with neuro diverse students starting September 2021!Non-exhaustive list as a SEMH Art Teacher Deliver the curriculum to all students, adjusting the material should it be necessaryto suit specific needs. Responsibility of creating and preparing lessons. You will be accountable for the attainment and progress of pupil progress. Establish a safe, purposeful and stimulating environment, keeping the schools core value of mutual respectat the forefront.Essential Criteria for SEMH Art Teacher Previous experience of working with emotional regulation and with positive behaviour/de-escalation strategies. It is compulsory you hold (or have in process) valid QTS/QTLS. Qualification to the equivalentof degree level in a specialist subject or a related subject You enjoy using a therapeutic approach to teaching. Experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication teaching background.What you can expect back from this specific SEMH ArtTeacher A permanent, full-time contract. A competitive salary of £30,000-£42500 per annum, dependent on experience.
