Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Self-Pay Advisor to join our Self-Pay team. This role is a based in our Head Office in Central London (NW1 4LJ). We are offering a competitive salary of up to £25,500 per annum plus an achievable £3000 bonus and a fantasticarray of benefits.Established in 1932, The London Clinic is one of the UKs largest private hospitals, with state-of-the-art facilities located around Harley Street. We have approx. 1300 employees across 8 sites, where we cover a broad range of specialisms, including complexmedical and surgical procedures and a comprehensive range of cancer and outpatient services.Job ProfileTo respond to all self-pay enquiries (web, email and telephone) in a fast and efficient manner, providing information on services provided at the Clinic, and the costs associated with an aim to secure appointments wherever possible. To guide the patientsthrough their journey at The London Clinic and make the decision to have their treatment with us as easy as possible.To provide accurate pricing guidance and documentation in response to enquiries received via telephone and email from Consultants and their secretaries when required.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
  • Salary: £24,000 to £25,5000 per annum + £3000 bonus
  • Location: 1 Park Square West, London, NW1 4LJ (Baker Street and Regents Park stations) - this role will offer a hybrid working approach.

Key Duties
  • Respond to enquiries from patients received via telephone, email and through The London Clinics website in a timely fashion
  • Handle patient enquiries in an empathetic and professional manner, ensuring they feel comfortable discussing their medical condition with you
  • Provide guidance to patients on the most appropriate Consultant to assist based on the nature of the enquiry / medical condition
  • Work collaboratively with the pricing team to respond to requests for self-funding package and treatment pricing received from Patients, Consultants, & Secretaries in a timely manner in line with agreed service level agreements
  • Provide accurate pricing information to self-pay patients based on the nature of the enquiry including initial and follow-up consultation fees, diagnostic fees, self-pay packages and additional costs as appropriate
Skills & Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years experience within a customer service/sales role, and experience within a telephone-based environment is desirable.
  • A basic medical knowledge is desirable but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
