Working in the community, you will be part of our Team promoting the uptake of Direct Payments by providing information, advice and guidance,and coordinating our online Personal Assistant Register (LinkMeUp). You will enable individuals to recruit and employ their own support staff and understand their legal employer responsibilities.To be successful in theSelf-Directed Support Coordinatorrole, you must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication abilities, as well as strong organisational skills and the ability to work with accuracy and to deadlines.Personal and/or professional experience of supporting disabled children and adults, and older people is desirable.In return for your skills, knowledge, and experience, youll enjoy:
