Job Description

Security Operations Analyst Fashion Retail Hybrid - Permanent Up to £60,000 + Bonus + Benefits My client is one of the UKs fastest-growing luxury fashion brands who operate in a multi-channel capacity with global campaigns, worldwide websites, stores, monthly mailings and concessions. Due to exceptional growth over the last 12 months, my client isseeking a Security Operations Analyst to join the new and expanding Security Operations Team.This is an exciting, new opportunity where you will report to the Head of IT and Projects, reacting and responding to numerous alerts and events from the business and security systems. This role requires you to work with members and stakeholders across thebusiness to recognise, protect, identify, respond and recover to any security issues.Core Responsibilities:

  • Observe, Preserve and Safeguard the networks and systems from malicious activities.
  • Utilise industry leading MDR, SIEM, Networking, AV, Email and Cloud based tools.
  • Evaluate issues escalated to the SOC, ensuring an appropriate follow-up is conducted in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Undertake monitoring of open-source intelligence for any potential risks and establish appropriate defense systems with respect to these.
  • Identify and propose improvements that can be made to technologies, processes and initiatives.
Experience and Skills:
  • Professional understanding of Cyber controls and OWASP top ten.
  • An understanding of public cloud environments.
  • Potential to display strong situational awareness of the cyber threat environment, and experience of implementing this knowledge efficiently and securely.
  • Committed to working outside of working hours (if required) to help support in tackling any short notice security incidents.
  • Work both independently and within a team, being inquisitive and exhibiting initiative in resolving issues across the organisation.
