We are hiring a Security Officer to work in a corporate environment with at least 1 year of experience in the security sector. Must hold a valid SIA licence. Duty will be 12 hours shift for both day and night per week and pay rate is £11.60 per hour. Bankholidays will pay at double time rates.Job responsibilities of Security Officer are:Opening and closing of the building.Reception duties - greet staff and visitors.Effective communication and customer service skills.Computer literate.Ability to work on own initiative or as a team with minimum supervision.Ensuring the building locked and secure during out of hours.Access Control (daily).Security patrols (internal & external).CCTV monitoring, alarm response and completing weekly fire alarm test.Weekly equipment audit.Maintenance of a Duty Logbook.Run back-up generator weekly.Monitor building management system and report faults.Escort visitors as and when required.Key management - issue to staff & contractors.First responder to incidents.Understanding site’s Assignment Instructions and performing any other duties as required.Must be able to provide a full five years of employment history for screening as per BS 7858.We Offer:28 paid holiday per annum (includes Bank Holidays)Company Pension SchemeOnline training for personal development
