Job Description

**Permanent role****£50k - 80k per annum + package****SPONSORSHIP - NOT AVAILABLE****Hybrid home/office model**The companyA financial services company in the City of London.The roleA Security Engineer who will design, develop and test infrastructure solutions for several areas of the business including Azure core Security services, M365 Security Services and Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IoT).The responsibilities

  • Developing, designing and testing enterprise solutions using Microsoft 365 Security products, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 Productivity and Collaboration Tooling e.g. Teams, Power Platform and emerging technologies.
  • Develop new solutions to meet business requirements where no solutions currently exist
  • Working closely with and influencing vendors to align their products with company strategic goals.
Essential
  • Security-related experience - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Cloud App Security
  • Endpoint experience - Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Office 365, Teams, Azure Active Directory, AirWatch, JamF, Citrix, Google Workspace
  • Experience in working with cloud solutions - Azure preferred (AWS or GCP will also be considered)
  • Experience in using scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
Desirable
  • Financial Services experience (but this is not essential)
