Job IntroductionAbout the role:Responsible for supporting the SCS Security Team and Logistics Hub to lead on the of analysis of information from a variety of sources within the SCS organisation, including data from the project wide ANPR and security systems. The role requires an eye foridentifying risk and attention to detail to successfully support the wider logistics team.The role would ideally suit a candidate with previous experience within an intelligence and investigation setting who has a proven track record for analytical thinking.Flexible working: We welcome you to ask about the flexibility you need. • Identifying trends, issues and discrepancies that may directly impact SCS Railways
• Engaging with the SCS Logistics Team in relation to ANPR system performance and trends
• Interpret dashboards from various data sources for presentation to stakeholders across the project
• Monitor and analyse ordering and requisition data across the SCS footprint for materials, tools and plant to support loss prevention initiatives
• Support the security team with ongoing investigations when required by the Head of Security
• Provide evidence-based reports at request of stakeholders, ensuring compliance with GDPR procedures
• Providing support to the area security managers and wider logistics team

The Ideal CandidateEssential:

• Significant experience in analysing data
• Power BI Skills
• Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel and be willing to undertake training with project specific software
• Knowledge of security technologyANPR, CCTV, Access Control
• Experience in creating presentations
• Excellent problem-solving skillsevidence of demonstrating innovative and methodical thinking.
• Proven ability to multi-task conflicting priorities

Desirable:

• Experience within an intelligence setting and ability to deep dive into data
• Experience of working within major construction projects
• Experience of working for a regulatory body in data analysis or investigations
