Job title: Security Assurance Manager Location: Preston or Frimley - One day a week on site with some travel We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role. Salary: Up to £63,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: • Reporting to and directed by the Head of Security and Security Operations Manager for day-to-day delivery of security across Shared Services sites in accordance with regulatory standards • Managing day to day delivery of guarding operations and security maintenance and support across the Shared Services portfolio • Providing security advice, guidance and induction to Shared Services sites and staff • Conducting security audits of sites, delivering mitigations/remedial actions and supporting security related investigations and breaches as directed • Supporting business continuity plans, contingency planning and incident management for Shared Services • Establish, monitor and manage supply chain security assurance programme to prevent damage, loss or compromise of assets across the Physical, Personnel & Cyber security domains held within the supply chain • Provide best practice and advice on security assurance and management Your skills and experiences: Essential: • Have a good understanding of Government security requirements • Hold a security qualification or be on track to achieve completion of certified security training (e.g., DISA Course) • Experience of conducting security investigation activities and undertaking security audits • Experience in developing and implementing technical security strategies Desirable: • Strong understanding and previous experience of setting requirements for physical and technical security mitigations • Knowledge of Cyber security assurance principles and international security standards Benefits: You’ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
