This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internalcompany benchmarks. As a Barclays Securitised Products Structurer, you will assist the team with the origination and execution of both private and public market securitised financing solutions for clients, with a focus on sustainable and transition financing, contributing to Barclays$1trn sustainable and transition financing target by end of 2030. This is an important structuring role. You will predominately focus on the execution of originated deals, as well the analysis of potential new opportunities. What will you be doing Working with external clients and a wide range of internal stakeholders to ensure efficient project management Interacting with rating agencies in order to optimise execution efficiency, as well as supporting credit analysis for Barclays-funded facilities Working with other members of the team in order to analyse potential opportunities from an economic point of view and analysing return on capital Identifying new opportunities within the sustainable and transition financing space that could be relevant to the Securitised Products team Providing analytical support of origination within Securitised Products and with partner teams across Barclays You will help ensure efficient and well-run transaction execution, working closely with multiple teams, e.g. Syndicate/ Finance/ Legal/ Product Control/ Credit Risk/ Compliance Supporting the syndicate desk for the execution of public ABS and private placement transactions with institutional investors What were looking for: Relevant experience, ideally working within an investment bank/ financial institution Keen interest in European structured finance markets and willingness to learn Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver under pressure Solid project management experience, analytical skills, and attention to detail Skills that will help you in the role: Demonstrated interest in sustainable and transition finance with explicit experience preferred Prior experience of working in asset-backed financing teams is desirable Articulate and confident communicating with internal stakeholders, external clients and building solid relationships Comfortable leading workstreams and managing tasks within small deal teams Where will you be workingIn the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
