Job Description

Are you a Financial Accountant or Treasury Accountant looking for a new opportunity in Financial Services This is a fabulous opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with hedge accounting experience gained within financial services to progress theircareer with a leading London based specialist lender.Responsibilities

  • Hands-on corporate accounting and financial record keeping
  • Administration of day-to-day reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Preparation and internal submission of financial information to the Board, Executive Committee, and internal teams, such as Treasury, as required
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts (consolidated)
  • Preparation of annual audited accounts (OpCos & SPVs)
  • Preparation and submission of ad hoc financial information and financial returns required by external stakeholders, such as shareholders, funders, the Regulator and HMRC
  • Ad hoc financial analytics and projects
Requirements
  • Fully qualified accountant (essential)
  • Securitisation financial reporting experience gained within a financial services environment, ideally in UK mortgage lending or a similar consumer lending industry
  • Knowledge of FR102, IAS39 financial instruments, including deemed loan and hedge accounting, and FRS9
  • Strong financial modelling and analytics skills, including advanced Excel
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite
