Job Description

Summary£25,850 up to £33,000 *per annum -This isnt making a change today. Come and join our vibrant and fast-paced Team, in charge of a variety of administrative processesrelating to products negotiated by Lidl to be sold in the UK or exported across Europe and the US.We are looking for a confident and motivated team player to join our Head Office Buying Admin Team to take charge of secretarial tasks and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) supplier onboarding. We need a highly motivated, self-sufficient team player, whoonboard supplier to the EDI system and give regular updates to the business and provide administrative support to buying and buying admin.We have moved to a fully flexible model of mobile working for appropriate Head Office and Regional roles, empowering our teams to choose how and where they work best. We feel it is important that, where possible, we offer our colleaguesas much flexibility as possible and trust our teams to determine the right environments that work most effectively for them.What youll do

  • Coordinating meetings, managing the agenda and consolidating minutes (German & English)
  • Providing daily supporttravel booking, meeting organisation, equipment management, emails, phone calls, office organisation (communal areas) and other ad hoc requests
  • New starter set-up & creation of training plans
  • Organisation of team events and training sessions
  • Creation of power point presentations (German & English)
  • Planning international range reviews between all senior stakeholders
  • Support the team in our move to Tolworth
What youll need
  • Excellent command of the English language with fluent German language skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Trustworthy with the ability to keep information confidential
  • Ability to evaluate processes for optimisation purposes
  • A genuine passion for performing administrative tasks effectively, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks to ensure accuracy and completion within given deadline
  • Motivated, proactive and willing to learn and develop within the role
  • Previous secretarial/administrative/office management experience would be advantageous
