A fast paced London secondary school are seeking three recent graduates to join the support staff team from September to work as teaching assistants to develop your classroom based experience before moving onto a PGCE or schools direct role.** Teaching assistant, immediate interview** Graduate role, Ideal pre teacher trainingWorking as a teaching assistant is a great way to gain invaluable school based experience that will stand you in good stead for when you begin teacher training. Each year this excellent secondary school looks to take on a small number of graduates who areeager to develop their experience in a school setting ahead of commencing teacher training.The graduates work as graduate teaching assistants/learning mentors on a full time basis and gain invaluable school experience which stands them in good stead for when they commence teacher training. As a teaching assistant you will be working under theguidance of an experienced SENDCo and will work closely with students. You will be working with students from years 7 - 11 in a wide range of subject areas giving you the opportunity to gain a real insight into secondary school teaching.This excellent East London School are looking to interview recent graduates who have some form of recent experience with young people and can commit to this school on a full time basis. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as voluntaryschool work, overseas teaching, sports coaching, youth work.
