What youll doKey responsibilities in this role will include (but not be limited to):

Maintain a stable, secure and performant platform that the company will be providing to its customers, specifically in the area of Appian infrastructure and related resources.
Upskilling on the latest version of the Appian platform and take the lead responsibility for all infrastructure and SecDevOps work related to Appian. This includes monitoring, installing, upgrading multiple Appian environments within the cloud platform.There is no expectation for building applications in Appian.
Achieve a certification in Appian in the early stages of this role.
Plan, build / implement, and operate infrastructure and tools for SecDevOps around Appian: CI / CD, backups and disaster recovery.
Coordinate with customers and the wider team to schedule and perform maintenance activities on Appian environments.
Perform L2-L3 support activities related to customers using Appian as part of the platform. Escalate and coordinate with Appian Support.
Work with multiple stakeholders to improve the platform through automation, monitoring, etc.

What youll need:

Strong infrastructure engineering, SecDevOps, system administration or similar experience.
Experience in Kubernetes, AWS architecture and infrastructure tooling used for enterprise-grade global platforms.
Expertise in automation of infrastructure using APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
Desire to learn Appian support and infrastructure skills through a rapid training and enablement.
Experience in operating large scale cloud systems, and ability to proactively resolve potential issues in a collaborative environment.
Experience in Agile / Scaled Agile a plus.
Technical team leadership experience is an advantage.
