Science TeacherWandsworthSeptember StartA large PRU in Wandsworth is recruiting a science teacher to start in September for the full academic year. This is an ongoing position via the agency.The school caters for 100 pupils aged 11-19 years old, with EHCPs for SEMH, however many students have additional needs such as ASD, ADHD and SpLD. As well as a varied curriculum, they also offer vocational courses and extra-curricular activities.Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK. You will work across their 2 sites, and you may be required to teach some Maths lessons. Ideally you will have experience within an alternative provision, however the school will consider candidatesfrom a mainstream background. Classes generally have 4-6 students, with 1-3 teaching assistants depending on the class needs. Classes are mixed ability; therefore, it is imperative you are confident planning creative and inclusive Science lessons, accessibleto all abilities.
