Tradewind Recruitment are currently working alongside an Ofsted-rated Good school in the London borough of Merton. The school in question are looking to appoint a school administrator who will be responsible for supporting with the administrative and organisationalprocesses within the school. They will also act as the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders so will be an ambassador for the school and embody the value, vision, and ethos of the school in all interactions.The role is full-time and long-term and is commencing as soon as possible. The school are holding interviews and paid trials to find the right fit candidate. Pay rates are between £11 - £14 an hour dependent on experience. SIMS (School Information ManagementSystems) experience is desirable.Other duties will include: To provide efficient and effective support to the Teaching staff team and wider administration office Update manual and computerised record/information systems Update and maintain the school calendar Assist with managing the schools email inbox, ensuringthe school meets its expected response times and emails are forwarded to the relevant staff member as necessary Manage and organise completed forms from parents Report any issues with the schools IT systems Organise and distribute incoming and outgoingpost Provide administrative support to staff as needed To provide administrative support for members of Senior Leadership team as required Monitor and manage stock, ensuring best value following the schools purchasing processes Carry out filing, printingand photocopying.
