Our aim is to improve the quality of life of our residents, building confidence and skills to allow them to live independently,while playing an active role in their communities.Bank House, based in Lambeth, is an 84-bed mixed tenure Senior Living scheme. 59 units are rented, 6 are shared ownership and 19 units are owned by Tonic Housing. Tonic at Bank House, is the UKs first LGBT+ affirming retirement community.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Housing Coordinator in Lambeth, London.Salary:£28,420 per yearLocation:Lambeth, London SE1Hours:Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (some flexibility required for evenings/weekends when required for ad-hoc meetings/events)The purpose of this role is to provide a customer focused housing management service to the residents at Bank House, to help them maintain their tenancy and to support the General Manager with the management and maintenance of the building.Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing residents moving into the scheme, ensuring they know how to set up utilities accounts and use the appliances within the flat Assisting in claiming and managing housing benefit applications Signposting and accessing support from other services related to issues such as debt management, welfare benefit advice and voluntaryagencies. Liaising with the central income team regarding rent account queries and arrears Carrying out regular health and safety checks of residents flats Assisting with security of the residents homes Reporting repairs and liaise on residents behalf with central departments and contractors Managing maintenance of the communal areas, including fixtures and fittings Building proactive working relationships with the facilities, cleaning, and maintenance contractors for the scheme Carrying out regular inspections of the building, including health and safety checks Undertaking void inspections and coordinate the required work Managing guest suite bookings and the condition of the room between visits.What you will need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is committed to achieving positive outcomes for all of our customers.The successful candidate will have: Knowledge and experience of housing and facilities management including voids, lettings, Housing Benefit and rent arrears Knowledge and experience of hospitality and customer service Strong customer focus skills and committed to innovating high quality service delivery Be highly organised and able to work to conflicting and challenging deadlines Excellent planning, communication, and customer management skillsThe offerOur Life@One benefits offer you an array of perks designed with your wellbeing in mind.Your holidays are important to us.Take up to 28 days annual...
