Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled Service Design and Transition Manager with current SC Clearance to be responsible for engaging and assisting project managers to establish the service design requirements and modelling for ongoing delivery for one of our blue light services clients based in London SW6.The Service Design and Transition Manager will develop service design across the portfolio, this includes Catalogue management; Availability management; Service Level Management; Capacity Management; IT Service Continuity management; InformationSecurity management; Supplier management.They will provide an assurance function, protecting the BAU estate and existing Service Management capability; be responsible for ensuring that the Service Operation is set up and in place, this includes: Event Management; Incident Management; Request fulfilment;Problem Management; Access Management. This also includes the review and setup of Service Desks, etc.They will provide cross supplier Incident, Problem and Change process integration.Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of leading the Service Design and Transition on large programmes.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience of working in Service Management.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience of working within a public sector organisation and have knowledge of Blue Light Services
  • Qualified in ITIL Service Transition and Service Design.
  • Must have experience in setting up the transition governance required to assure the delivery and output from an ICT Portfolio
