The Finance EPM Architect is a senior role within the Consulting Practice with responsibility for the design and delivery of SAP Finance solutions that meets the needs of our customers in relation to accounting and financial close through to financial planning and analysis.You will work alongside the project management and delivery teams ensuring that your solutions align and integrate within contracted technical specifications and company/client IT strategy to deliver the intended and expected results. Your consulting skills will be developed further within the Finance and EPM space and you will become an integral part of our consulting team, helping to build key relationships, design and deliver best practice and custom solutions that resolve client technical challenges and ensure reference-able projects to provide the base for the development of the practice.About You:Essential SkillsStrong understanding of financial consolidation and statutory reporting. Demonstrable experience in monthly and annual financial reporting process.Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial & operational planning and management reporting processes. It would be expected that the successful candidate will have 5 - 10 years or equivalent of industry experience.Should be experienced in project planning and delivery, this includes gathering process requirements and delivering design workshops and validating documentation. Should be adept at leading multi-disciplinary teams, developing and maintaining strong business relationships and managing delivery teams through complex SAP Finance EPM projects, with the goal of always providing real value to our clients.They should have obtained Professional Accounting qualification and actively contributed to at least 3 end to end it implementation projects.Has a thirst for learning and staying on top of the evolving technology landscape. Actively shares and transfers own expertise and operational knowledge in a structured method, thus making it useful and functional.Consultants must be prepared to travel to client sites and spend time away from home. Applicants will be expected to be fully conversant with SAP Finance solutions, specifically SAP Business Planning and Consolidation.Technical Must haves:+ Deep SAP BPC or equivalent solution experience+ In-depth skills on configuring Planning models, business rules, business process flows, BW data modelling, custom Script logic, Input Forms, Cash flows and custom BADI functions.+ Good understanding of business rules for Consolidation (Balance Carry Forward, Currency translation, Intercompany elimination, Automatic adjustments Consolidation of Investments, Proportional Consolidation), Script logic, BADIs, EPM Add-In input forms and reports, + Complex BPC Data models+ Good understanding of BW data models, extraction and retraction between the BW and BPC landscapes.Technical Nice to have:+ SAP Analytics Cloud, experience developing Planning models. Including the creation of stories, advanced formulas, value driver trees, allocations and predictive functionality.+ SAP FICO experience+ SAP BW experience+ SAP S/4 HANA RTC+ SAP Financial Consolidation (FC)+ SAP Disclosure Management+ BOBJ, WEBI & SAP BEx skills desirable+ Good understanding of cross module integration with other SAP solutions such as ECC modules.Career opportunities exist along multiple route maps from people and leadership, products and expertise and project management.
