Job Description

SAP ABAP Programmer | SAP | Application Development l ERP l Patch Testing l Hybrid working l £475-£525 per day l Outside IR35Method are excited to be supporting one of our partnering consultancies whore looking for a SAP specialist for their end client.The ABAP Programmer will be responsible for technical component delivery and participate in full integration testing and assumes responsibility for testing the application code from a technical perspective to verify that programs follow standards and meetstechnical specifications. You also must be able to document and build solutions based on business requirements. The ABAP Programmer will support best practices through ABAP solutions within business processes in SAP and through interfaces with systems externalto SAP.Following technical tools are needed:

  • Application development (WebDynproABAP and GUI transactions)
  • Object Orientated Programming
  • Enhancement framework including User Exit, classic BAdis and enhancement spots
  • Report development and Query writing
  • Develop ALV layouts and user interface innovations
  • Existing program debugging and enhancement
  • Interface development & support for both downloads/uploads to and from SAP (flat file, RFC, IDocs and Webservices)
  • Output development with both SAPScript and Smartforms
  • Data loads via custom programs and LSMW (BDC, BAPI and IDoc)
  • Performance analysis and tuning
  • Batch Job scheduling and management
  • Function modules building, testing and application
  • ALE/IDoc processing
  • OSS note application
  • Knowledge SAP modules: SD, MM, PPM, WM, PP, QM, FI/CO, PS, PM, DMS
Additional Requirements:
  • Experienced SAP ERP developer
  • Implementation experience
  • Upgrade experience
  • Patch testing
  • Microsoft experience - Office 365
Strongly Desirable:
  • UI5/HTML5/Fiori App development experience.
  • SAP Personas development
  • Developing and deploying CDS views/AMDP.
  • Experience with using Postman or SOAPUI for testing
Desirable:
  • SAP Certified
  • Understanding of Solution Manager 7.2
Contract:
  • Outside IR35
  • 3 months initially
  • Hybrid (2 days in office in the midlands but can be flexible for the right candidate)
  • Immediate start
  • £475-£525 per day
