Job Description

Hanson Wade is a fast-growing business information company creating niche information products to service the Life Sciences, HR and Construction industries. We are a tech-enabled business that leverages systems and solutions to augment the capabilities of our company. Salesforce is the most important technology platform in our company. Apart from being our CRM, it also performs the role of our ERP and database of record for all commercial activities. We are recruiting for a Salesforce Administrator who will maintain the system, support users in their day-to-day and work with the rest of the Technology team on the continuous improvement and deployment of an ambitious Salesforce roadmap.Our Salesforce stack includes Salesforce, Pardot, OwnBackup, Jitterbit, GetFeedback, CloudCall and various other third-party apps from the ecosystem. This is one of the most important operational technology roles in the business. However, we’re looking for a candidate who has the capability and desire to progress the operational delivery of Salesforce as well as maximising the long-term strategic value and capabilities of the platform.If you’re a Salesforce expert who is looking to flex their technical expertise in new and interesting use cases within a company that literally lives by the matra - "If its not in Salesforce, it doesn’t exist" then this is the perfect role for you!Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the overall maintenance and administration of our Production Org, sandboxes, and backups
  • Handle all basic administrative functions such as user management, profiles, page layouts, objects, fields and formulas
  • Managing user queries, advising on best practices whilst ensuring the system is configured for optimum performance
  • Manage the deployment of any upgrades to Salesforce to ensure compatibility with existing configurations
  • Safeguard and sense check the impact of updates to minimize any downstream effects
  • Implement and iterate on business processes that will enable functions across the business including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations
  • Establish and maintain guidance with regards to systems maintenance, configuration, deployment, and testing
  • Evaluate solution designs and proof-of-concepts to understand inherent risks and impacts, communicating them to technical and non-technical users
  • Automate business processes using declarative tooling such as workflow rules, flow and process builder
  • What we’re looking for:
  • A Salesforce Certified Admin as a minimum. Please list all your Salesforce certifications on your application.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple requests and prioritize your tasks accordingly
  • Proven experience automating business processes using declarative tools and basic Apex functions
  • Sales Cloud experience in a multicurrency and multiproduct environment is a plus
  • Analytical and systemic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Capability to communicate technical concepts to all level of stakeholders including technical users, non-technical end-users and management
