50% Sales support to two heads of sales covering Italy and Spain (based in London) Assist in follow up with clients and prospects via emails or calls or in person Assist Head of sales with CRM, adding notes and contacts Market research and analysis Coordinate calls with managers and investors Organise Sales meeting agenda and write minutes Meeting organisation, WebEx details, co-ordination, invites Assist in coordinating third party marketers activity Assist in mapping new regions/clients 25% Support general sales activity: Distribution list communication management, checking and coordination Coordinate inflows and communication with external parties to identify unknown subscriptions, including chasing transfer agents for investor information Quarterly calls coordination with fund managers Monitoring IR mailbox for incoming enquiries Incoming requests from data portals regarding KIIDs, ISINs, updated documentation etc. Virtual conference project management (once or twice a year) Coordinate high probability lists (2 or 3 funds) Reconciliation of third party conferences attendees, help identify interested prospects Tracking responses from campaigns and reconciling attendees Coordinate roadshow agenda with managers and sales team Sales deliverables: be familiar with monthly reports, pitch books, ad hoc documentation and be able to review correctness before they go out to investors/prospects. Produce new ideas/slides, and review presentation with client/investors/prospects 25% Learning Learn about alternative funds, UCITS, offshore (in a year, when up to speed with the industry and funds, this will shift to sales activity on his/her own, which will be defined then, but includes making sure CRM is constantly updated with contacts and communication with each of his/her clients): Investment knowledge in HF in general Learning about Alternative UCITS space Attending conferences Know the competitor Alternative UCITS platforms and funds Key Skills: A self-starter who has a can-do attitude, A strong effective communicator who is able to develop and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, the senior management team and internal teams Effective relationship building and influencing skills A proactive and flexible team player with effective interpersonal skills An independent thinker with a high level of integrity Excellent organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise effectively The ability to remain level headed when managing multiple tasks to often tight deadlines Superior attention to detail Some working knowledge and experience of the investment industry preferable with an understanding of fund of hedge funds Proficiency in Microsoft office programs with PowerPoint (advanced), Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate) and Outlook as a pre-requisite Degree level education
