Job Description

Sales Specialist - Dell EMCUp to £60,000 + OTE £120k + BenefitsLondon (Hybrid working)Our client is a global leading IT organisation, who for over the past three decades, have been a trusted supplier of IT Hardware, Software and Integrated IT Solutions to global technology providers such as Microsoft, Apple, Intel, VM Ware, Cisco and Dell.Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Dell EMC Sales Specialist with data centre experience, to join their successful team in London. The ideal applicant will have experience in technical sales/presales consultancy, focused onDELL EMC solutions and services, along with extensive experience in account management and business development within the IT industry.The successful Sales Specialist will have a consistent high-performance sales track record within the IT sales market, preferably working for an IT Vendor or Reseller. You will have experience in selling Dell EMC solutions and services, along with an understandingof Compute, Networking, storage & Hyperconverged platforms & Hybrid Cloud.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of new business by promoting and selling Dell EMC solutions and services to new and existing clients
  • Develop effective go-to-market strategies to increase market presence of the vendor
  • Meet with customers to gather requirements and present technical solutions, products and services to address clients needs
  • Ensure sales targets and strategic objectives are met
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dell EMC product portfolio and promotions to maximise sales opportunities
Knowledge/Skills Required:
  • Understanding of data centre technology
  • Good technical knowledge of Dell EMC solutions and services
  • Strong knowledge of Hybrid IT
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent ability to communicate and build relationships
  • Ability to understand and articulate client requirements
  • Strong planning, organization and reporting skills
