Job Description

Sales Manager, £38k-43K, + Car + Fuelcard, OTE £60k - LondonMy client, a leading national business in the Temporary Works Solutions sector, is looking for a very dynamic and very proactive Sales Manager to inject some energy into Central London and develop the new opportunities so abundant there.This role suits a Hunter, not a Farmer.Having sole responsibility for London (inside the North and South Circular boundaries being the Territory), this is the dream patch to be working!My client is looking for candidates that have experience of selling into Construction companies large and small, National or Regional, major projects or not, just as long as they are currently/soon to be, active in London.This is the perfect hands on role. Pounding the streets, knocking on site doors if thats what it takes and if thats the best way to get in front of your customers is absolutely encouraged!The whole of the London Construction scene is your target market to sell temporary works solutions like:-

  • groundworks support
  • propping & jacking
  • formwork & falsework
  • temporary bridging
  • temporary access
You will be well supported via the initial 90 day induction program, closely supported by the Regional Sales Manager.Additionally there is a whole team of Engineers to support you in building your quotations/proposals, as well as Field Sales Engineers for specific on site support, so the actual technical knowledge of how to help is not a prerequisite to be a successfulcandidate.More important is someone, in the business at the moment, selling into London Construction sites/businesses/developers, directly or indirectly, with outstanding business development ability and the energy and drive to be creative about identifying opportunitiesand then getting in front of the customer to pitch for them.My client is a successful and profitable business and has very ambitious growth plans.
