Sales Engineer – SaaS | Post-Sales | SQL | AnalyticsLondon / Remote – Permanent remote working with eventual 1-2 days in office / Client-site£50k - £70k basic + 25% bonusWe have a brand-new exciting role with a fast-growing SaaS business who are looking for a talented Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant to work with their customers in a primarily post-sale capacity, on their new Data Analytics product as they approach full commercial launch – ultimately taking responsibility for the platform.Working closely with both existing Customers but also the Customer Success, Product teams, and external partners, you will play a key role in the success of the new Data Platform (PaaS) by helping to shape the overall development of the product and become the Subject-matter-expert within the business.It is essential you are a comfortable client-facing Solutions Engineer with strong consulting skills and a natural ability to gather customer requirements and translate into effective solutions (solutions design), as well as a natural ability to train and teach the solution effectively to non-technical audiences via webinar and face-to-face demonstrations.You’ll have strong Technical database skills (Data modelling, manipulation, importing) with a proven commercial background using SQL which will allow you to manage the development of the platform in response to customer requirements and also ideally have experience with PowerBI and LookML / Looker – but if not, be willing and able to learn it quickly.If you are an experienced Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect with strong data software experience and a desire to join a fast-paced, startup environment (With a strong career trajectory and excellent earning potential) then we want to hear from you!Keywords: Solutions consultant, sales engineer, post-sales, pre-sales, solutions architect, database, SQL, data modelling, manipulation, solution design, powerBI, LookML, Looker, PaaS, SaaS, Startup, client facing
