Job Description

Sales Engineer - Commerce/Personalisation SaaS - £75-90k base plus £25-35k BonusCentral LondonThe CompanyThis company provide unified commerce products that are shaped by the needs of their clients, designed to help their teams and are tailor-made for sophisticated shoppers. They are a strategic partner of many brands, retailers and manufacturers and they are committed to providing financial success in an ever-changing world.They provide the only unified commerce platform that delivers a personalised omnichannel experience. It combines AI driven personalisation from two of their acquisitions who provided omnichannel commerce and enterprise grade order management.The RoleAs a Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Participate in customer technical discovery sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customers current state, current processes, current systems, and current pain points.
  • Provide technical qualification for all assigned deals from a product-fitment perspective through collecting and evaluating business and technical requirements
  • Attend "First Vision Calls" with AEs to gain deal insight and build deal strategy.
  • Support "Second Vision Meetings" by:
  • Presenting pre-demo value-based solution decks to customer stakeholders
  • Delivering value-based tailored product software demonstrations to customer stakeholders
  • Leading customer technical discovery sessions to develop a thorough understanding of the customers current state, current processes, current systems and current pain points Recommending a partner strategy, and fostering partner deal alignment in coordination with the Partner team
  • Delivering a high-level solution diagram
  • Assisting the AE with Solutions and ROI metrics for perfecting the business case
  • Produce Prospect Profile documents for each deal that provides a comprehensive view of the customer, the pain points, the value drivers, and the pitched/sold solution.
  • You
  • 2+ years experience in a Sales Engineer (or equivalent) role
  • 2+ years selling clou-based software (SaaS)
  • 2+ years as a technical analyst in a SaaS based cloud technology
  • Familiarity with front end coding languages
