The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in managing and leading a team of financial planners or advisors, demonstrating exceptional sales and business development acumen.This leadership role involves overseeing and nurturing a team of financial planners, guiding them in the development and execution of business plans for new business acquisition and client servicing. Thus roe can be based anywhere in the UK but does requiretravel.Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of financial planners or advisors, providing mentorship, support, and guidance to ensure optimal performance and achievement of targets.- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, identifying opportunities for new business acquisition and client retention.- Actively monitor and evaluate individual performance against business plans, conducting regular one-to-one meetings to provide feedback and support.- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.- Undertake travel across the UK to meet with team members, providing hands-on support and leadership as required.Requirements:- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading a team of financial planners or advisors within the financial services industry.- Demonstrable experience in driving business growth and achieving sales targets.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to excel.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CII Diploma in Financial Planning) are essential.- Flexibility to travel across the UK as required.
