A place where everyones contribution is important and valued.We are looking for a senior Sales Director to drive new business sales working closely with the marketing and solutions teams to identify and deliver new opportunities. You will need either a good understanding of the Public Sector recruitment outsourcingmarket or be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a pursuit team to secure new sales opportunities with senior level decision makers.KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

  • Source targeted opportunities for Comensura which meet the minimum criteria (ideal client profile) and which, where appropriate, reflect the delivery capability of the Impellam Group.
  • To identify, nurture and engage the prospect database that is aligned to Comensuras strengths.
  • Manage the sales pipeline & ensure D365 is accurate with a sustainable flow of targeted and qualified prospects.
  • To work with the UK Solutions Director and Comensura Operations Team to develop innovative, agile solutions that tackle the recruitment and resourcing challenges faced by our customers and the broader market.
  • To support the Bid Manager in identifying win themes and ensuring they are translated into compelling submissions.
  • To work closely with the marketing team to identify high quality sales and marketing content that will capture the interests of the target market such as market intelligence reports and white papers.
  • To work closely with colleagues across the Impellam Group when required to create multi-branded solutions, that will benefit the whole company.
  • To report sales activity to key internal stakeholders in the business and provide market insights.
  • To support the annual sales plan to ensure growth in new business is achieved in accordance with targets.
  • Deliver client presentations as and when required.
  • You will report directly into the Impellam Director of Sales.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • In-depth knowledge of the Public Sector recruitment outsourcing market and is able to lead a pursuit team to secure new sales opportunities with senior level decision makers.
  • Has led and won sales opportunities in the Public Sector specifically outsourced recruitment models.
  • Understanding of the solution design process.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and become productive within the team as well as being able to work independently and excel in a fast-paced environments where changing priorities are commonplace.
  • Track record of developing relationships with Public Sector clients and experience of business development.
  • Understanding of marketing functions and how they work to support the sales process.
  • Experience of research and information gathering to ensure knowledge of the industry is up to date and can support strategic discussions.
  • Experience in producing reports/tenders/proposals/presentations.
  • Communication is key especially when having to build rapport with external customers and internal stakeholders. This includes being comfortable talking face to face, via email and telephone to negotiate and interact with individuals at all levels withinan organisation.
  • Strong ability to influence people both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written skills and high levels of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent attention to detail with a good understanding of commercial proposals.
  • Self-sufficient/self-managing.
