Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join our UK Sales team; whether this is your first role and you’re looking to kick start your career in sales or a more experienced sales professional, if you are passionate about a role in Sales this opportunity could be for you.Offering a competitive salary and a generous commission scheme.Key Skills Required:

  • Excellent telephone communication and people skills
  • Excellent lead generation skills, with ability to identify hot v warm v cold leads, and actions accordingly
  • Good sales, negotiation and customer interface skills
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in using MS Word and Excel
  • Tenacity and desire to succeed
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Product and market sector understanding around SWG’s suite of applications
  • Strong administrative, documentation and organisational skills
  • Experience in a B2B software sales environment would be advantageous as would an understanding of the facilities/building management industry
An initial training period will include:
  • General company induction
  • Product training to a sales presentation and support standard (self-learning will also be required in order to be able to demonstrate the software)
  • Facilities Management overview
  • Opportunity to shadow other sales personnel
  • Dynamics CRM Training
  • Netsuite Sales Order Training
  • Training on other internal systems as required
Summary of responsibilities:
  • Conduct outbound phone activities to build the sales pipeline
  • Leverage email, social media and other lead analysis tools (eg Lead Forensics) to develop the sales pipeline
  • Be targeted in converting leads to software demonstrations
  • Educate customers/prospects and inform them of the benefits of SWG products and services
  • Learn and use sales processes to maintain your sales standards at the highest level
  • Become knowledgeable of SWG’s software product offering and target market
  • Maintain and update the CRM lead/prospect database
  • Produce weekly and monthly lead/demo reports
  • Represent SWG at trade events (trade shows, conferences)
  • Support the Sales team in creating Sales Orders on Oracle NetSuite
  • Support the Sales team in creating quotes and related documentation
  • Monitor and manage published tender notices, assess for suitability and ensure they are communicated to relevant Sales personnel internally and followed through and CRM is updated
  • Assist in co-ordinating tender bids and SWG’s profile on procurement portals, in UK, Australia, Canada and Middle East
  • Be a direct point of contact for incoming sales enquiries
